Speaking of Doom, let's talk about the other elephant in the room...Downey coming back to play Doom.

Honestly...? I'm not worried about it.

I mean, yeah, I'm not crazy about it, either. But I don't think Downey's playing Victor von Doom; petty, melodramatic bitch with a chip on his shoulder the size of Texas. I think he's playing Iron Doom, a.k.a. a variant of Tony Stark who became Doctor Doom. Now yeah, I have no proof for that, but it makes the most sense, to me.

Let's face it, the biggest concern people had when rumours about Doom replacing Kang as the big bad of this "Saga" was that they'd rush through his introduction. A concern I had, too. Downey playing Iron Doom instead of Victor von Doom gives them an out for that, because it's not really Victor, it's an evil Tony Stark. That way, you can set up Doom properly in a future FF film or, as I keep suggesting, an adaptation of Triumph and Torment for Disney+.

That's my two cents on the matter and I'm sticking with it till we get more information.

I feel like the only way Marvel could pull off the whole Dr. Doom RDJ thing is if the events of a past movie has warped reality to a point where roles are mysteriously changed and maybe undoing this could lead to the actual Dr. Doom (hopefully a Romani actor) taking is rightful name.

Marvel's SDCC coverage hasn’t been good since 2015, but now it's COMPLETELY gone downhill. Now their live streams are less than 30 minutes long? ARE YOU JOKING??

We all know that Disney and Marvel have the money to produce better than they have been for the last 7 years, and they can CERTAINLY do better than THIS. 😒

Now, let's get to the major thing I wanna talk about; Marvel at Comic Con this year.

Not sure about anyone else, but it really feels like this year was all about sucking Doom's cock. Which normally would be fine...if it didn't feel like it came at the expense of other characters in the line.

So...yeah, if it's not obvious by now, I'm not happy about Jed's Doctor Strange book ending. Especially when it feels like it's ending prematurely for the sake of some stupid event where it's the Stranges vs. Doom and I hate that! Why can't Stephen just be Master of The Mystic Arts again and deal with the possibility of wanting a family with Clea? You know, until it's time for Doom to start abusing his power.

That being said, I do believe this is leading somewhere.

Assuming that Jed's writing the book, I think this might be the culmination of a few lingering threads he's been weaving throughout the pages of his Doctor Strange run.

I mean, let's face it, he's the one who planted the seeds for Doom as Sorcerer Supreme. Plus, there's still the fact that we don't know what Clea was up to between the last time we saw her during Waid's run up to Death of Doctor Strange. Call me crazy, but I think this may have been part of what he's been leading up to.

At least I hope, anyway. The title was just announced a few days ago, and we probably won't get any more news until New York ComicCon. So...fingers crossed. 🤞
